Please read the following information carefully prior to registering.
This event is an outdoor, unsanctioned event; which means it does not adhere to the policies of USA Powerlifting pertaining to gendered divisions or any policies regulating or restricting competition for transgender and non-binary athletes.
All lifters will be given 60 seconds to make a single attempt. Use your minute however you like: (dance, hype the crowd, grab them dollars) – the platform is yours. Your lift does not need to be a PR – lift whatever weight you (safely & enthusiastically) want. The event will be split into flights based on attempted weight.
We need your opening attempt in order to organize the flights
Example: opening attempt 200 LB
While there is an element of ‘competition’ - the event is centered on confidence, community, & fun. Athletes are encouraged to set a personal goal - whether that be a new PR, or simply feeling more confident in your deadlift skills. This event is designed for (and highly encourages) athletes of all experience levels, genders, & ages. You do not have to be a Solcana member to participate.
Registration: FREE - there is no cost to participate in Drop Deadlift Gorgeous. Instead, we ask all lifters to donate their registration fee directly toward their fundraiser goal.
Suggested registration: $100 - $25, please donate at your highest ability

Lifter Fundraising:
To encourage community support - each lifter will have the ability to fundraise. There will be a digital giving platform - allowing community supporters to donate to the cause, specifically on your behalf. This is a fun way to involve those who can't attend the event, but want to support you.
But how much should I fundraise?
Any lifter who wants to participate must raise a minimum of $250.
We will share tips, tricks, and ideas regularly with registrants to help in your fundraising. Lifters will be given additional instructions about fundraising after registering.
